Established in 1985 Mckenney Tree and Landscaping has been serving central and midcoast Maine for almost twenty years. During that time we have offered a full line of tree services to residential, commercial, state and municipal clients. Owner Jon McKenney grew up in Waterville, Maine, attending Waterville High School and later the plant and soils technology program at Southern Maine Technical College. He is licensed by the state of Maine as a landscape and also a utility arborist. Jon is certified by the International Society of Arboriculture (ISA). ISA is an international organization dedicated to education that requires a demanding test and continuing education for certification. Jon has been a member of the Maine Arborist Association for many years, serving on the board of directors as well as two two-year terms as president. We also feature an EHAP certified arborist. Electrical Hazard Awareness Program training is necessary to work around electrical conductors.

We at McKenney Tree believe education is crucial in giving our clients the excellent service they deserve when it comes to an asset as valuable as their trees and property. Safety is important to us and our employees use all the necessary safety equipment. We value our clientele, some of whom have been with us the entire time we’ve been in business.

An honest answer to your tree questions has always been how we conduct business. If we don’t know the answer we can locate it elsewhere. We will travel to your property and provide a free estimate and we never charge more than the estimated price. There is a cost for a written insurance estimate, but it is deducted if we do the job.
